It all started when…

A connection and exchange of energy occur when an object created by the hand resonates with another human being. A handmade piece holds the evidence of the maker. The hammer marks, textures and variations reflect choices made along the way. This junction makes each piece feel personal rather than manufactured.

 Metalsmithing allows me to work slowly and intuitively, transforming precious metals by fire and hammer. In a world saturated with mass production and technology, creating work by hand brings the reminder of the human touch. Each piece that leaves my studio becomes a part of someone’s life. I am humbled and filled with gratitude each time someone chooses to wear, gift or place a piece in their home.

The enduring qualities of precious metal, a love of organic textures and forms combined with an understated elegance are reflected in my limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces.
